Perfect Plum

I decided to play around with some stamp sets that I haven't used for a while and I came across "Heartfelt Thanks". This stamp set came in my starter kit 2 years ago so I haven't used it for a long time.

So with this card I used Perfect Plum as the base, I stamped the outline flower with Perfect Plum ink. I layered Pale Plum card on that then stamped the base flower on Whisper White. I used Markers to colour the stamp so that I could use the two colours on the flower and stem. Using my Stamp-a-majic I lined up the outline flower stamp and using markers again I stamped the outline on Vellum. The ribbon is Purple organza. It was nice to grab an old stamp set out and have a play. Using the Vellum over the white card softened the colour of the flower petals and I think gives it a more subdued effect.

More soon....

Lovely flower. The colours are beautiful, and the multi-dimensional effect using the vellum gives an interesting depth.

So pretty, I love this card. I'm not a fan of purple but this card has just changed my mind. Beautiful!
